Quick Update
So lately I've been going into my collection and I've noticed... I've got a lot of eyeliners. Heck I'm obsessed with liners because I feel that a liner look suits everyone and its a look I can always depend on. So ill be posting a review on eyeliners soon and it will be divided into 3 categories. Gel, pencil and liquid. So ill be back very soon.

FYI: Eyeshadow Primers Review and Why it's a Must Have Item!!!
Okay so anyone whose played with makeup knows that eye primer is a must in every eye look! And if you haven't tried eye primer I can promise you that it's worth the money!
Reasons for Eye Primer
1. Makes eye makeup last WAY LONGER and NO CREASING! Trust me go one day with primer and the next day without and you'll notice a difference.
2. Makes the colour so much more pigmented. Just look at the picture below.
3. Waterproof Genius.... Most (I don't know if all primers do) will make eyeshadows waterproof. Comes in handy when you need to cry.
I placed a drop of water and already the shadow without primer is starting to dissolve away!
Then I gently dabbed away the water with a tissue and as you can see the one without primer faded in the spot where the water was.
4.Magic Eraser.... Amazing makeup mistake corrector. Just use a cotton swab and dip it into primer and you get the most accurate makeup eraser ever. So much easier to use then makeup remover on a cotton swab because the oils in primer absorb pigments while makeup remover tends to dilute pigments. Basically with makeup remover sometimes you end up having to just wipe off the eye while primer will pick it up.
5. Multiverse item.... Primers help make eyelids smooth and the perfect canvas and some primers double as a concealed for dark eye lids. (Some days I wear the Urban Decay Sin as just a sheer gold shadow lol) And I know that Too Face also has a primer (Glitter Glue) that helps with eyeshadows with huge chucks of glitter. Literally you get glitter sticking to the eyes forever :P
6. A healing item.... Great for reviving dried out cream eyeshadows/liners and creating cream eyeshadows with loose pigments.
I just simply add a dab of primer and mixed it up to revive my cream liner. Also rubbing alcohol works too for reviving cream products!
Okay so on to the review!
So I will be using 8 eye primers.
-Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion
-Mirabelle Eyes and Face Primer
-Benefit Stay Don't Stray
-Revlon Photoready Eye Primer
-Quo Eye Primer
-NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshodow Base
-Bare Minerals Prime Time Eyelid Primer
-Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Okay so lets get started....
So I use the back if my hand applied different primers in different spots and used the same shadow.
On the actual application. I used shadows from my Sephora Pantone Eye Shadow Palette. A deep purple and a matte black.
First application.
NARS and Bare Minerals
As you can see Bare Minerals gives more coverage all over the lid and brightens the lid area. Great for those who have tired lids. NARS dries clear.
However it seems that NARS gives out the best payout of the two.
Next is Too Faced and Micabella
Both dries clear but Micabella feels smoother and Too Faced didn't have a texture afterwards.
Very close in payout but Too Faces payed out a bit better.
Next is Benefit and Revlon
Benefit once applied lighten my lids up and covered my light veins as well and Revlon achived similar but more sheer coverage.
After application Revlon gave a more mattifying effect to the shadow but seemed to apply shadows more smoothly I felt.
Lastly
Quo and Urban Decay
As I was applying Quo the texture seemed dry and didn't apply as easy as Urban Decay. But like Benefit, Quo offered coverage on the lids.
Quo did not work out. I found myself having to reapply the eye shadow twice to achive a pigmented look. While it only required one application of colour for Urban Decay as well as all the other primers and they still achieved a more pigmented look then Quo.
A Full Comparison
This time I felt that Too Faced offered the best payout followed by a close second from Micabella. I know alot of my friends love the Urban Decay Primer Potion and personally I'm a huge fan of the primer sin. But my lids seemed best adapted to Too Faced Shadow Insurance despite it not working as well on my hand. I highly recommend the Revlon Photoready Primer for a good budget wise primer and personally I would stay away from the Quo Eye primer. Hope this post helps you guys out and leave any suggestions of other primers I should try out next time. I'm more then happy to review more.

First Post! A Intro to Who I am.....
Hello and Welcome
A simple phrase to welcome you to my site and hope that you will enjoy your stay. My name is Yolaine and I'm a makeup fanatic (And huge nerd too- video games, anime, etc)!! Which is weird considering most of my high school life I didn't wear a smudge of makeup or knew what tweezers were... Yikes!
But the moment I started learning what a eyeliner was I was well... HOOKED! Now makeup is a artistic expression of myself. On my blogs I will post reviews on products my love and my hates and makeup looks that I have come up with!! I love chatting about makeup so make sure you leave a comment and I'll comment back!

And to spread my love of video games I will end this post with my favorite saying from Kingdom Hearts
There are many Worlds,
But they share the same Sky...
One Sky,
One Destiny...
